Telangana protests continue, bandh on Dec 30

The JAC held a marathon meeting last night following which the decision to step up the protests was taken. Meanwhile, police foiled the indefinite hunger strikes being observed for the last five days by the students of Osmania University late last night and shifted some of them to hospital after their health showed sign of weakness. The Osmania University students called for massive students convention on January 3, 2010 in support of the Telangana statehood demand.
