IBM wins 10-year IT services contract from co-operative bank
IBM today announced that it has signed a 10-year Information Technology (IT) services agreement with Gujarat-based Sardar Bhiladwala Pardi People’s Co-operative Bank (SBPPCB). The engagement will be in the form of a pay-as-you-go model, which will enable the bank to save up to 50 per cent in its capital expenditure on IT Infrastructure, IBM said in a statement.

"The software does not have any upfront cost. The customers only have to pay a $100 fee at a time of their exit," Microsoft Technology Advisor Girish Joshi told reporters here. The program provides web professionals with Microsoft software and solutions, together with related tools, training and support, to help their businesses succeed. It also helps drive new business opportunities by connecting web professionals and hosters with an ecosystem of customers, partners and other professionals with complementary technologies. The program is supported by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), National Association of Software and Services Company (NASSCOM) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) as the network partners.
