Markets move sideways

The markets have been virtually unchanged in the past one hour. The Sensex is down 21 points at 17,619 and the Nifty is lower by five points at 5269. Sterlite is the top gainer on the Sensex, strengthening by 1.6% at Rs 881. Reliance Infra has gained 0.8% to Rs 1137 and Tata Motors has added 0.7% at Rs 814. Tata Steel and SBI are the other notable gainers.
