State Bank of Mysore has extended its two 8 per cent home loan schemes till March 31, but has begun levying processing charges from this month, a source in the bank’s personal and services banking department said. The schemes were set to expire on November 30.

“All other banks have extended their schemes and we have also extended our festival offer. We are witnessing steady demand for home loans as buyers are now looking at investing their funds in buying property,” the source said.
The company currently offers “Easy Home Loan” and “Advantage Home Loan” under which the fixed rate for the first year is 8 per cent.
