Former BCCI president Raj Singh Dungarpur died in Mumbai following protracted illness. Affectionately called as ‘Rajbhai’ in the cricket fraternity, the 73-year-old Dungarpur, who was president of the Cricket Board for three years in the late 1990s, was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Kingfisher Airlines posts Rs 242 cr loss in Q1

The company said that despite the sharp cut in capacity during the recent days, it has managed to achieve higher yield. At the EBITDA level for the quarter, domestic operations earned an operating profit of Rs 18 crore as compared to a loss of Rs 574 crore in Q1 FY"09. However, on an overall basis the company has incurred an EBITDA loss of Rs 107 crore, including the losses associated with the recent start-up of international operations.
