FMCG major Godrej Consumer Products today said the Bombay High Court has given its approval for the merger of the company"s two group firms — Godrej ConsumerBiz and Godrej Hygiene Care — with itself.
The famous “Day Zero” at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will soon be history. IIM-Ahmedabad in a meeting held with over 30 representatives of top Indian companies today proposed a “cluster” system by March 2010, wherein companies would be divided as per their sectors and invited on the campus in batches over the weekends.
The country’s foreign exchange reserves fell $1.13 billion in the week up to September 11 to $284.4 billion on the back of portfolio investments and revaluation of currencies.
